Founded in 1949 by John Corlette, Aiglon College is an international English-language boarding school located in Ollon, in the Swiss mountains (Canton of Vaud), with 340 students aged 9 to 18. Students enjoy a high quality education in a beautiful and safe environment. The school’s academic excellence, privileged student support and wide range of nationalities make it an international reference.
A signage through a village
As the campus is located in the heart of the village of Ollon, the challenge of the signage was to attract attention as soon as you enter the domain, to allow a better circulation between the buildings, but also to differentiate the school from the other buildings. We also had to take into account the visibility of the signage in snowy weather, to guarantee good visibility and durability in spite of the weather conditions.
Signage in the image of the campus
Our signage design experts wanted to reuse the wood and stones of the recently renovated chalets to ensure consistency. The symbolism of the mountains and peaks is also very important. The campus map has been completely redesigned to allow better identification of the different types of locations and their access for visitors, newcomers and current students.
