An inter-communal library
The library of Rolle & surroundings is a very involved institution for the inhabitants of the Rolle intercommunity. It combines information, education, culture and entertainment for a population of all ages, accessible to all.
The “Intercommunal School and Public Library” is changing its name to “Rolle & Surroundings Library” in 2019. The challenge was to bring dynamism, to show an influence on the communes of Rolle, Gilly, Bursins, Bursinel, Essertines-sur-Rolle, Bougy-Villard-Mont-sur-Rolle, Perroy, Féchy, Tartegnin and Pizy notably.
Intergenerational and dynamic supports
Like the logo, which combines the tradition of the printed book, the dynamism of the activities, the diversity of users and the regional anchoring, the communication supports had to be clear, joyful, the use of graphic forms and the choice to mix playful and more traditional iconography allowed to cover the various objectives of the library.
The graphic forms of circles and patterns of dots also allowed to dynamize the content, to allow a quick recognition of the supports of the library and to extend the color codes of the logo.
Templates for a better autonomy
Because of its dynamism and productivity of events, workshops, readings, the Rolle library needed supports that they could quickly decline. First with a classic header for the administrative supports, then a poster template in the continuity of the other communication supports to create a coherent identity and to adapt to the various types of communications necessary in-house.
