What is a website?

The evolution is therefore exponential, knowing that about 3 sites are created every second.
There are two different types of websites, static and dynamic. Static sites are independent of external factors, they are not modified by the date or the users. Dynamic sites, on the other hand, have evolving content, such as Wikipedia, which can be modified by users.
Websites are subject to regulations, notably for all issues related to copyright, image rights and privacy, personal data, press law, or literary and artistic property.
How to make a website
To create a website, there are several steps to follow. Even if this is a very simplified process, thanks in particular to the many sites that facilitate the creation of pages and websites, the steps to follow can be complex.
It is therefore necessary first to reserve a domain name. It must be unique and personalised. It is best to choose known extensions so that the public is reassured, .com or .org, with geographical extensions, .ch, .fr. After choosing the extensions, you need to create the name of your site using the domain name so that Internet users can find you easily.
Next, you need to choose the hosting server, which will allow you to put your site online and store the data contained on it.
After that, you need to choose a content management tool such as WordPress for example, as this will allow you to make your site dynamic and responsive. You can use this tool to create pages, translate your pages, add features, and improve your SEO.
When these three steps are validated, you can configure your site to improve its performance by providing protection, backup or multitasking.
Finally, you can create pages with your CMS and start launching content to improve the visibility of your website.
The website is your company’s showcase and represents your brand image, so it is a step that should be taken care of and not neglected. It will also be very important to work on the natural referencing of your site to make it visible to a large number of potential customers.
